It's become a Todd/Aleman/Broberg/Hamilton tradition to attend the annual lighting of the Mission Inn in downtown Riverside. In addition to watching the fireworks/lighting ceremony, we eat at Simple Simon's bakery/restaurant and munch on fresh Kettle Corn (which we call Cattle Corn...a nickname I coined at Sarah's brothers' football games back in the day). Here are some photos and videos of this year's ceremony (by the way, the foot traffic is INTENSE, so after the ceremony ends, if you want to get out of there in a timely fashion, be prepared with at least one cattle prod, a linebacker and the ability to crowd surf):
